EmpowerStride provides fun, exciting, life-changing programs that help people connect, heal, and grow while working with our horses.
EmpowerStride, a unique non-profit business, is dedicated to providing social and emotional support to women and children aged 8-88 who are victims of trauma or abuse. Our distinctive approach involves hands-on equine-assisted learning methods, setting us apart in our mission to empower and heal.
Our mission is further supported by a range of fee-based workshops and programs for individuals, groups, and teams who are looking for ways to reconnect, reenergize, and learn something new.

A horse's number one concern is to feel safe, which can only come from a connection within a herd.
Humans, like horses, are social animals. We need one another.
We must come together to restore and discover trust and build resilience- all through working with the horse's power. A horse cannot judge and lie but can empower people to help themselves.
The curriculum endorsed by Equine Connections-The Academy for Equine Assisted Learning and used at EmpowerStride is designed to help people reconnect with themselves and find ways of re-establishing the joys and well-being in their lives.
